The HX750W is Corsairs latest addition to its power supply line and joins the other modular units in the HX family. What are the advantages and disadvantages, if any, to a modular design? I have seen some modular power supply designs with a full set...

  • Environmental Factors: The packaging of the Corsair HX750W does nothing to help the environment. The box and user manual could easily be manufactured from recycled materials, but alas, no mention on the box or packaging that this is the case. In addit...

Hyperthreads, multi-core, full load, and stability are just a few of the words and phrases that accompany today’s most powerful Intel Core i7 and AMD Phenom II Processors. These chips are calculating and execution monsters that are capable of crashin...
  • As far as I’m concerned, the PSU’s most impressive feature is its ability to maintain the amperage on each power rail, especially the 12V, at 100% load and beyond. In fact, it seems like the PSU is built with quality of output over quantity achieving...

With that said, it's not the PSU I'd go out and buy with my own money. That would be Corsair's HX750W, which rings in $20 cheaper than the Seasonic yet offers an additional two years of warranty coverage. The HX750W's performance is comparable to that of...

Video Review: Corsair HX line of power supplies are currently available in a number of watts; 450, 520, 620, 750, 850 & 1000. The Corsair HX750W Power Supply is considered a higher end model and the results certainly validate that. The approximate maximum peek output of the 3.3/5v rail is 150 watts and the 12v is 744 watts. For most setups the HX750 will do the trick, even some higher end gaming rigs. Watch the video to find out more...

It's very rare that you get the best of everything all in one package. Supercars break down more than the family estate, busty blondes are rarely as intelligent as the petite brunettes and PSU's tend to be either powerful yet noisy, efficient yet un...
  • To cut a long story short, the HX750w is every bit as good as it's bigger brother the HX850w. Throughout the testing the voltage and efficiency results were so uncannily similar that if not for the MAX load results topping out at 913w (vs 1084w on the HX...

It is very important to notice that Corsair HX750W, HX850W and HX1000W have nothing to do with other models from this same series. They use a complete different (and better, by the way) design using a DC-DC converter to generate their +5 V and +3.3 V o...
