With Plug & Play function is connection to USB 3.0 port of your computer very simple without the need for complicated installation of an internal graphic card. The adapter is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 port, but performance will likely be unsatisfactory. After installing the driver you can immediately start using the monitors without the need for restarting the computer.
