FilterBright
In bright environments the display quality of Plasma TV can be weakened by ambient light. FilterBright absorbs external light as it approaches the plasma panel preventing unwanted reflections while transmitting internal light to increase contrast levels. Viewers can see a crisp bright display whether in a dark environment, a bright room or when watching in the daylight.

Smooth Motion Driver
The broadcasting standard supports a 50 Hz signal, but when showing DVD movies or broadcasting TV, flickering can occur. To solve this problem, most TV companies increase the image frame rate by doubling the standard 50 Hz frame into a 100 Hz frame. In other words, the same images are rapidly shown twice, but there are still not enough frames for the eye to see a continuous image. As a result, the viewer sees jerky or blurry images on a PDP TV, especially for fast moving images or captions. To solve this problem Samsung's exclusive Smooth Motion Driver adds ten extra frames per second from its original source. Only Samsung can realise innovative technology with Smooth Motion Driver providing a more comfortable, clear and smooth image, even in fast moving scenes, or making news or weather information easier to read.
